Exploring Dancing Shoes
Place various types of dancing shoes at the science table. Let the children compare the shape, size, color and texture of the shoes. Explain to them how each pair of shoes is used in different types of dancing. Allow the children to try the shoes on for size and to try dancing in them.
Do you have dancing shoes? That sounds great- but aren't those kinds of shoes expensive? hmmm....you're rich, I forget. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, rich, ha ha ha? You are the one that owns a house!
ReplyDeleteI have my old dancing shoes (tap and ballet), but you could always borrow some, if you don't have your own.
Or just go to a dance store and look at the shoes there.
